As an athletic therapist I specialize in treating athletic injuries from time of injury to returning athletes to competition through a combination of manual therapy and functional exercise. I work with athletes in a variety of sports but have extensive experience working with elite athletes in baseball, hockey, golf, and volleyball.
As an osteopathic manual practitioner I specialize in decreasing pain improving functional movement of the body. I do this through a combination of hands on manual techniques and exercise prescription. I’ve also taken a number of continuing education courses in TMJ (jaw) treatment and organ and visceral mobility to treat symptoms of conditions such as IBS, acid reflex, or post surgical rehab from abdominal surgeries, including appendix/gall bladder removal and c-sections.
On top of working at a number of health and wellness centers over my career I’ve also had the opportunity to work as the therapist and medical staff with Team Canada Baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays, the varsity sports programs at Sheridan College, Durham College, Humber College, and Western University, along with a number of elite level professional and amateur golfers

I wrote an extensive thesis on osteopathic and manual treatment of osteoarthritis of the hips which has lead to a specific expertise on that condition and its treatment as well as a broader interest in how the anatomy and function of the hips can relate to other structures and conditions in the body.
I’ve been practicing since 1996 working with the varied conditions of the general population and athletes first as a massage therapist and later transitioning to an osteopathic practice. I been working with the clients of Rosedale Wellness since 1996 but have also worked in health clubs and several specialized MVA clinics. I have also designed and occasionally taught a continuing education course for massage therapists (advanced techniques for the hips)
I have enjoyed being involved in student osteopathic research at the Canadian College of Osteopathy as a thesis advisor and have been a frequent jury president for their international thesis juries since 2009. I’ve been a very active rock climber since 1979; and also enjoy travel, scuba diving and more recently ultra endurance adventure cycling and do the occasional cycle tour.
